At Centenary Little Athletics we pride ourselves on being one of the most affordable extra curricular activities for the children of our community. Your registration includes access to passionate accredited coaches who run a training session every Tuesday at 4.30pm-6pm as well as our Friday night meet nights where our athletes get to put their weekly training to good use and hit their personal best. Throughout the season your athlete will be able to train 19 times and compete in 17 Friday meets. That's a whopping 36 sessions. Our quality training sessions alone are more than what most extra curriculars have to offer for at least double the price and to throw in friendly Friday Night competition makes us like no other. Now of course we might run into some wet weather, even hot weather being a summer sport which could alter these numbers but it is no different to any other sport. Family Participation Deposit
Family participation deposit: $75 (Per family)
New members to the centre often ask "why do we have this levy?" On some nights there may be up to 200 little athletes competing at the centre and there are about 12 committee and coaches combined. However it can take up to 50 people to run a meet night program, so unless we can get enough parents to assist with the myriad of jobs that occur at each competition night we simply can't operate. We are fortunate that most parents are happy to help on competition nights and as we love to say at Centenary Little Athletics "Many Hands Make Light Work" We hope the parent participation levy encourages parents to assist us in creating a great night for all families and help make our Friday nights run more smoothly. If there is insufficient help it will cause delays, which will effect all competitors and families.
The fee is $75.00 which is fully refundable after the Annual General Meeting at the end of the season, provided that the parents fulfill certain requirements. To ensure that we record the fact that you have assisted and to ensure you are covered by insurance you must sign on at the Parent Participation table.
All we are asking is that parents commit themselves to a minimum of ten (10) meet nights and 1 hour on the BBQ or in the canteen.

Uniform Fees
All athletes must wear their centre uniform on each competition night and at all QLAA competitions and carnivals. The description of the uniform can be found here.
