McDonalds Regional Relays - 10th November 2013 - University of Queensland, St Lucia

Nominations for the Regional Relays are now open for Little Athletes of all abilities.

We urge every one of our Little Athletes to attend Regional Relays.  A Perpetual Shield is presented to the most successful centre of the carnival based on placing and attendance.

This is a fun event for ALL abilities. 

All Under 7 and Under 8 athletes are presented with a participation medal for their efforts.

Please print the Nomination Form and give to the Nominations Officer with the Nomination Fee by the closing date.  The preferred method of payment is direct credit to our bank account.

CLOSING DATE for nominations is18th October, 2013.  This form must be given to the Nominations Officer by this date or your nomination will not be accepted.


Regional Relays (for U7 – U17’s)


Regional Relays – The regional relay day is usually held at the University of Qld Athletics Facility, and all children are
encouraged to compete in teams for both field events (2 or more athletes) and track events (4 athletes per team). Please check the events calendar for this seasons date.  Athletes may nominate for up to five(5) events.

We urge every one of our Little Athletes to attend Regional Relays.  A Perpetual Shield is presented to the most successful centre of the carnival based on placing and attendance.

State Relay – Teams of age groups U9 to U17, which are placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in various events in the Regional Relays, are eligible to contest the State Relay Championships at SAF (State Athletics Facility) at QEII.  Please check the events calendar for this seasons date.
