Weather can be unpredictable and canceling meets or training sessions due to weather, whether it's rain or heat, is done for the safety of our Athletes, families and committee. It can be frustrating  but it's crucial to prioritize safety above all else. Weather conditions like heavy rain, lightening storms or scorching heat can pose risks to participants, leading to potential injuries or health issues.
Making the decision to cancel a training session or meet isn't easy. We as a committee and coaches who also have young athletes, put in a lot of combined hours each week to make our sessions happen so when we have to make the dreaded call it can be extremely frustrating for us to.
Many factors are considered when cancelling a session such as the previous few days of weather conditions, will the weather get worse? will it be safe for our community to travel home? Just to name a few.

In the event of a session cancellation, we will try our hardest to offer a make-up session. Being a volunteer run Centre this can prove difficult due to everyone also having  families and commitments outside of Little A's.
The best way keep informed on cancellations is by following our Facebook and Instagram. We will make the announcement at the latest by 4pm on Tuesdays for training and 5pm on Fridays for meets.
