Queensland Little Athletics Australia (QLAA) has divided all centres into regions. Centenary is in the Met West Region along with Ipswich, Kenmore, Toowong, Rosewood, Providence and Souths.
External carnivals are usually run on Sundays and are often a terrific family day out. Children from U7 to U15 can compete by simply filling out a nomination form provided by the centre and paying a small fee.
These events give your child the opportunity to run on different track surfaces and experience outside competition.
Throughout the season, other carnivals will be advertised so stay tuned.

Western Suburbs Games
One club night per season, Centenary, Kenmore and Toowong Harriers get together and hold a friendly interclub meet. Each year the responsibility for hosting the Western Suburbs Games is rotated to a different centre. It is a fun meet where the athletes get to have some friendly competition with our Neighbours and it is a great way for parents of athletes to mingle and share the successes of their athletes.
This season The WSG is being hosted by Toowong Harriers on the 1st of February 2025

State Team selection is open only to the U13 age group and U15 Multi Event (Pentathlon). Eligibility for selection is limited to those children who have attended 60% of the Little Athletic Centre normal competition days in the year of selection unless on medical or on compassionate grounds.
